Rymot Workforce is transparent by design. Before monitoring starts, every employee gets a clear summary of exactly what is tracked, and afterwards they can see the same data about themselves that their manager sees.

§01What is tracked

  • Time — when you are active or idle during work, and your sessions.
  • Applications — which application is in focus, and for how long.
  • Website domains — the domain only (for example github.com), never the full URL or page content.
  • Screenshots — on the schedule your organization sets; you can always see which screenshots are taken.

§02What is never collected

  • Keystrokes or anything you type
  • Chat messages
  • Email content
  • Video or camera
  • Full URLs — domains only

§03What employees can see

Employees have their own dashboard with the same data their manager sees about them, in real time: focus insights, their full work history, and self-service reports they can download without asking. If it is tracked, they can see it — there is no stealth mode in Rymot Workforce.

§04Breaks and pausing

Employees can pause tracking during breaks. Whether anyone may opt out entirely is a company policy set by the admin.
